Paver Patio around an In-ground Pool
In lieu of a poured concrete pool deck, our crew installed a paver patio around this brand new in ground pool. The approximate size of the patio is 1,500 square feet. Due to the large scale of the patio area, a layer of Geo-grid was installed between the base material and the existing soil. This provided added stability. The pavers used are the Cambridge Cobble made by Belgard. The colors are a mixture of Silex Grey and Charcoal. We installed a soldier’s course of pavers around the perimeter of the pool to finish off the look.
In addition to the pavers, we also installed a raised planter with built-in steps. This provides the transition out of the house and down onto the patio area. The walls and steps are constructed out of the Mini-Creta wall system made by Techo-Bloc. The color is the Limestone Blend.
