The hosts of Indoors Out on the DIY Network, Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns, filmed the Hartley Bros. construction of an Outdoor Kitchen/Dining Room during May 13-17, 2008.
The construction of the Outdoor Kitchen and Dining Room consisted of an installed paver patio and raised sitting wall provided by Belgard Pavers and Wall Block. Granite curbs for the steps leading from the patio to the spacious backyard were donated by Ondrick Natural Earth of Chicopee. The Russell homeowner built the outdoor counter cabinets with the custom concrete countertops being donated by Stone Soup Concrete of Florence, MA. Tuscan Ovens donated the outdoor oven and cooking utensils. The dining area was landscaped with large flowering pear trees and annual flowers donated by Millican Nurseries of New Hampshire and Shiel Farms of Southampton. To enhance the outdoor environment, a pondless water feature by Aquascape accentuated the landscaping. Furniture for the film set was provided by Tarnow Nursery of Chicopee.
